SumaGroulx Application

Red Tractor applying SumaGroulx

For Optimal Results

Standard Application Rate: 1 gallon per acre, mixed with sufficient water for even distribution.
Adjusting for Soil Conditions: For sandy or heavy clay soils with low organic matter, increase the initial application rate by 0.5 gallons per acre.
Storage Recommendations: Store between 40°F and 80°F; avoid extreme temperatures.
Best Time to Apply: Apply in the late afternoon or at sundown for optimal absorption.
Sprayer Calibration: Always calibrate sprayers before use to ensure correct application rates.
Second Application: For best results, a foliar application is recommended.

Organic Applications

For organic crops, double the standard application rate (2 gallons per acre instead of 1 gallon per acre).

Organic fields generally have lower nutrient availability, requiring increased application frequency.
SumaGroulx Organic is OMRI Listed with no restrictions. It can be applied to any organic operation without restriction.

Co-Application Guidelines

Compatible with:

Irrigation water through a metered irrigation system.
Liquid Nitrogen and herbicides.

Use Caution:

Avoid co-applying with fungicides or fumigants, as they may disrupt microbial activity and microbes will consume fumigants.
When co-applying with herbicides, use within 24 hours of mixing.

Agitation Instructions

Before Application: Gently agitate SumaGroulx to evenly distribute microbes.
Smaller Containers: Shake before transferring to the sprayer.
Bulk Barrels & Totes: Agitate using a liquid transfer pump, air-wand agitator, or paddle agitator.

Important: Loosen container caps upon receiving the product to allow oxygen flow. Keep caps loose until application.

Treat seed prior to planting @ 0.5 gallon/100 lbs.
At Planting (Drill “In-furrow” or Broadcast):
  • Seed At 30 Days: Apply 1 gallon/acre
  • At Flag Leaf/Boot Leaf/Pre-Flower Stage: Apply 1/2 gallon/acre

Seedlings — Transplant (25-day-old seedlings)

At Transplant: Root dip seedlings in equivalent of 1 gallon/acre. Dilute solution equivalent to 6 oz. SumaGroulx per gallon of water.
At 30 days: Apply 0.5 gallons/acre
At Flag Leaf/Boot Leaf/Pre-Flower Stage: Apply 0.5 gallons/acre
